Land matters are a rather broad concept. We have experience with everything concerning land ownership. We have extensive experience in guiding expropriation procedures. We support governments, but also individuals, estate owners, agricultural entrepreneurs and businesses. You can come to us for the valuation of land and buildings, negotiations, and the associated compensation. If an agreement is reached, we assist with the purchase agreement and deed. If not, we guide the process to court.
Our land affairs advisors assist (semi-)governments in setting up and implementing strategic land policy. We advise on how to acquire land, preferably without resorting to the expropriation instrument. We also assist in assessing valuation reports, calculating compensation, and conducting negotiations.
Do you want to make your land policy and lease policy more sustainable? We advise governments and estates in every area – from administrative to legal – with knowledge of the sector. Our land agents know better than anyone how important participation is in sustainable land allocation. Therefore, the involvement of farmers and other stakeholders is central. Our valuers are registered with various chambers of the Dutch Register of Real Estate Valuers (NRVT), including the chamber for rural and agricultural real estate and the chamber for commercial and large-scale business real estate. Therefore, you can come to us for the valuation of, for example, land, agricultural objects, commercial buildings, and real estate portfolios. What are promising areas for wind turbines or solar fields? Our spatial planning advisors are happy to visualise this, together with our advisors in solar and wind energy. Subsequently, our land agents take care of all the land matters around it. For example, the right of superficies or the purchase of the land. But we also value the land when a wind turbine or solar park is going to be placed, or when a solar or wind park is transferred from one party to another.
When do you use emphyteusis lease? How can ambitions be captured in (legally) sustainable emphyteusis lease conditions? We advise governments, companies, and individuals on this. Our emphyteusis lease services are very broad. For example, as a government or company, you can come to us for concluding, adjusting, or extending existing and new emphyteusis lease agreements.
